The existing site accommodates retail and commercial units at ground level with office space on the three upper floors. The proposal was staggered into two phases. Phase 1 included a change of use application to convert the upper floors into 36 apartments driven towards the student market. There was a health mix of studios, one beds, two beds, three beds and multi-bed cluster flats. Works are currently being carried out on-site.

Phase 2 comprises a single storey extension to the flat roof aspect of the existing building. The new build proposal accommodates 3 additional apartments and 11 student beds. Planning has been granted and works are currently being carried out on-site.
